I’m incredibly grateful for this store and so thankful for its existence because for the first time in my life I feel like I can run and be happy just like everybody else. This place has changed my attitude about running from feeling constant pain and dread to comfort and excitement about going out just to see how far I can go. It was comfortable to run on asphalt, concrete, rocks, and dirt with no pain or discomfort. Once I got home, I decided to try out the new shoes and inserts and let me tell you, I have never felt so confident about my running as I do now with these shoes. She blew me away with her knowledge and experience teaching me new information about running and the importance of using the right shoes and finding the right fit even if it means going up a size! When it was time to get new shoes, I came across a new employee who went above and beyond to listen and help me with what I needed as I was looking for specific running shoes for long distance on hard surfaces. I’ve struggled with shoes and pain in my feet my whole life and have even broken a bone in my heel on my left foot as a teenager. However, now, I’m left with a visible bump that becomes very painful when trying on closed shoes. I was also born as a polydactyl meaning I have a sixth extra toe on my right foot that was removed as an infant. One is arched with a bump at the arch and the other is flat.
