And I felt way too awkward to interrupt one of these «Geniuses» helping potential customers pick the best laptop for themselves because that’s like saying, «Oh you want to join the Apple club? That’s cute. I clearly came at a bad time because although I had scheduled an appointment, no one acknowledged me for 20 minutes. I don’t know why I thought Apple employees would be in blue. There’s a bunch of «Geniuses» in red throughout the store. There’s no real edges, more like sharp curves (yeah, you figure that one out). It’s my childhood fantasy brought to life! It’s clean, smart. Frizzle’s class… you know, if we all hopped on The Magic School Bus and she shrunk us down to the size of atoms and we flew into an iPhone. Being inside this Apple Store is exactly what I imagine it would be like to finally be part of Ms.
Was mir weniger behagte war, dass die Servicemitarbeiterin sich gleichzeitig um mehrere Kunden kümmerte, außerdem ist es bei einem 27″ iMac irgendwie merkwürdig, wenn der Kunde die sperrige original Verpackung des zur Reparatur abgegebenen Gerätes wieder mitschleppen muß.Īfter years and years of avoiding Apple Stores (even though I own quite a few Apple products that I absolutely adore), I finally had to step foot inside this Apple Store because my laptop went cuckoo after messing up the Yosemite update. Das Geschäft selbst war appletypisch aufgeräumt. Soweit war der Besuch erstmal erfolgreich.
Die Problemchen wurden zügig umschifft, das Gerät zur Reparatur abgegeben. Die freundliche Genius Mitarbeiterin kümmerte sich um mein Anliegen und wir stellten fest, dass das Apple Kundensystem durchaus seine kleinen Kinken hat, wenn ein Kunde mit deutscher AppleID in einem US Store betreut wird. Das kenne ich viel schlechter, somit hat der Apple Store schonmal ein Lob verdient. Der Grund für meine «Anreise» war ein Defekt in einem iMac, vorbildlich fand ich das Zeitmanagement, ich hatte online einen Termin ausgemacht und hatte nur 5 Minuten Wartezeit. Wie schon erwähnt ist das Geschäft klein, keine typische Glastreppe und somit nur eine Etage auf der sich Präsentation, Verkauf und Genius Bar tummeln. An dieser Stelle denke ich wehmütig an meine Heimat, wo doch der Apple Store nur 4 U-Bahn Stationen entfernt liegt. Der im Vergleich eher kleine Apple Store hier in der Cielo Vista Mall ist in einem Umkreis von 200 km die Oase für alle Apple Jünger.
